Part One charts Roy’s remarkable relationship with the old Wembley Stadium. From pulling on the England shirt and suffering the agony of injury, to the redemption of scoring in the Charity Shield, Wembley was both a stage of triumph and heartbreak. The story culminates in 1994, when as Derby County manager Roy led the Rams into the play‑off final against Leicester City — only to see promotion slip away. It’s a journey through highs, lows, and the emotional pull of football’s most iconic venue.
